Friends of Point Pelee’s Natural Habitat Fund will assist Point Pelee National Park and the surrounding community in the restoration of the existing natural habitat or the creation of new natural habitat. This may include a wide range of native trees, shrubs, flowers or grasses.
The dedication recipients name and the indicated occasion (eg. birthday, marriage, memorial, Christmas, etc.) will be added to our ledger, along with the date and donor. This ledger is prominently displayed in the Point Pelee National Park Visitor Centre. An acknowledgement card is sent to the recipient or donor if requested. A tax receipt will be issued to the donor in Canadian Funds.

Five thousand dollars from the Natural Habitat Fund was donated to Leamington District High School toward the creation of the Caldwell Community Peace Garden on the new school grounds – June 2018
Native trees, shrubs and wildflower species were carefully selected by LDSS ECO Team to provide shelter from traffic and sun as well as food for migrating birds and pollinators. The Peace Garden will be situated on the east side of the school close to the trail so that it is easily accessible for community members to enjoy.

Your tax deductible donation of $25 or more contributes to sustaining the native trees, shrubs, flowers and grasses of Point Pelee National Park and surrounding community.
Your dedication will be added to our ledger, which is prominently displayed in the Point Pelee National Park Visitor Centre. A donation tax receipt provided will be in the name of, and automatically emailed to the credit card owner unless other arrangements have been made.
