The Friends of Point Pelee and Point Pelee National Park welcome "birders" each spring to experience the avian migration phenomenon from Canada's southernmost mainland.
Learn birding techniques and identification and interesting facts about our park by registering for guided bird hikes at 8:30am, 1:00pm or the evening twilight hikes at the DeLaurier Homestead.
Register online or by phone 888-707-3533 or 519 326-6173. There are maximum numbers for each hike, so advanced registration is recommended.
Support the Friends when you purchase your morning coffee and bagel at the Birder Breakfast and Lunch located behind the Visitor Centre. Our volunteers will be there to serve you from 7:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Barbequed hamburgers, hotdogs and veggie burgers will be available from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. This service will be available each day throughout the festival. Food services will also be available at the marsh boardwalk's Cattail Café during limited hours.
