Festival of Birds North-End Hikes are offered daily at 1:30 pm. Hike begins and ends in the parking lot of North West Beach.
Join a Friends of Point Pelee Expert Birder to observe the daytime movement of the migrants as they funnel northward through the park. Hikes are geared to novice and intermediate birders, but are enjoyable for birders of all levels.
Participants should arrive at least 20 minutes before the hike start time. Hikes will be approximately 2 hrs, rain or shine. Dress for the weather accordingly.
Pre-registration and payment is required. Limit 12 participants.
When you purchase your hike online, your name will be placed on the registration list. You will not receive anything in the mail, although the check out process will require your shipping information. Credit card receipts may be picked up at the Nature Nook before your hike time if required.
There is a 24 hour cancellation policy, no refunds thereafter.
Hikes are conducted in English. French language hikes are available, please check the festival schedule.
Binoculars are available to borrow for your hike and must be returned to the Nature Nook in the Visitor Centre immediately following your hike.
Daily binocular rentals are available at the Nature Nook in the Visitor Centre.
